Privacy Policy
MakeItConvert helps marketing teams understand performance across their connected commerce and advertising systems. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and how you can request deletion.

Information we collect
When you create an account, we collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication identifiers, workspace membership, and preferences needed to provide the service.
When you connect an approved data source, we may receive account, campaign, commerce, and performance records that the connection authorizes. MakeItConvert is designed to minimize collection and use only the fields needed for reporting, reconciliation, and insight generation.
During the current test phase, MakeItConvert uses synthetic fixture data and an explicitly authorized Shopify development store. We do not use production merchant data or any other live business account in this test environment.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, maintain workspace access, import and reconcile approved source data, display dashboards, investigate performance changes, provide support, protect the service, and improve reliability.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use connected marketing data to create unrelated advertising audiences, and we do not access a provider account unless the workspace owner has intentionally connected and authorized it.
Connected services and security
When you connect a third-party service, that service’s permissions and policies also apply. We store integration credentials using server-side secret storage and restrict access by workspace membership and role. Credentials, access tokens, and decrypted secrets are not displayed in the application or included in client-side code.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We use access controls, least-privilege design, validation, audit records, and secure transport to reduce risk.
Retention
We retain account and workspace information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Connected-source records are retained according to workspace settings and the applicable service configuration.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of information associated with your MakeItConvert account or workspace. You may also disconnect an integration through the product, subject to any records that must be retained for legal or security reasons.
To request deletion, follow the instructions on our Data Deletion page. We may need to verify ownership of the account before completing a request.
